Kereta Medik Darurat atau Emergency Medical Train (EMT) merupakan kereta khusus yang difungsikan
untuk menjadi fasilitas isolasi bagi pasien yang terjangkit Covid-19. Kereta khusus ini merupakan bentuk

kontribusi INKA dalam rangka membantu penanganan pandemi di Indonesia. Kereta ini merupakan
hasil modifikasi dari KRL Repowering (milik DJKA). Kereta EMT dilengkapi dengan fasilitas medis

seperti tempat tidur pasien, tempat tidur tenaga medis, nutrition room dsb. Kereta EMT didesain
sebagai ruangan negative pressure. Kondisi itu menjadikan tekanan udara di ruangan di dalam kereta

didesain lebih rendah dibandingkan lingkungan sekitarnya, sehingga virus didalam ruangan tidak bisa
keluar. Mulai dioperasikan pada 5 Februari 2021 sampai dengan saat ini jumlah keseluruhan pasien

Covid-19 yang telah mampu dirawat pada kereta ini berjumlah 230 orang.

The Emergency Medical Train (EMT) is a special train that functions as an isolation facility for patients

infected with Covid-19. This special train is a form of INKA’s contribution in helping to deal with the
pandemic in Indonesia. This train is a modified version of KRL Repowering (owned by DJKA). EMT

trains are equipped with medical facilities such as patient beds, medical staff beds, nutrition rooms,

etc. The EMT train is designed as a negative pressure room. This condition makes the air pressure in
the room inside the train designed to be lower than the surrounding environment, so that the virus

in the room cannot get out. Starting to operate on February 5, 2021, until now the total number of
Covid-19 patients who have been able to be treated on this train is 230 people.
